Ashton Leighann Spears, 27 of Rome, was arrested this week after burglarizing the home of an elderly and disabled person.
Reports said that Spears used a fire extinguisher to break out a window to the home before entering. Once inside the home, Spears is accessed of threatening the victim with a knife.
The incident occurred on June 12 at a home on Billy Pyle Road.
Spears is charged with first-degree burglary, criminal damage to property, exploitation, and intimidation of the elderly and terroristic threats and acts.
