A 33 year-old homeless Rome man, Nicholas Gene Ellison, was arrested this week after police said he was in possession of methamphetamine after stealing a vehicle.
Report said that Ellison was allowed to borrow a vehicle but never returned with it. Police went on to say that after locating Ellison they found suspected meth in his possession.
He was captured near the intersection of Ga 53 and Shannon Road.
He is also accused of being on the run from police in Alabama.
