Tina Christine Potts, 49 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she lied to 911 operators about being beat up.
Reports stated that Potts told operators that several people were actively trying to beat her up at a hotel on Martha Berry Blvd. They went on to say that multiple calls had been made of the same nature throughout the day and none were found to be true. Numerous witnesses in the area told police that the incident that Potts claimed never happened.
Potts is charged with unlawful conduct during a 911 call.
