Joseph Robert Mills, 55 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he threw food at his wife during a dispute at their home on Calhoun Avenue.
Reports added that Mills was found outside the home cursing while intoxicated.
Mills is charged with simple battery, public drunk and disorderly conduct.
