Stacey Lynn Maddox, 34 of Cedartown, is facing felony charges in Rome after reports said she took methamphetamine inside the Jail following her arrest for shoplifting.
Police stated that Maddox was jailed for stealing $34.52 in hair products from the West Rome Walmart.
After arriving at the jail, officers said that they found methamphetamine in her purse.
Maddox is charged with theft by shoplifting, possession of meth, and unlawful possession of drugs by an inmate.
