William Wayne Bridges, 33 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he took cocaine inside the Floyd County Jail after being arrested for kicking in a woman’s door on Dodd Blvd.
Reports stated that Bridges caused over $500 in damages to the home.
Officers added that while taking Bridges into custody they found him in possession of cocaine.
After arriving at the jail, deputies discovered additional cocaine on Bridges.
Bridges is charged with 2nd degree criminal damage to property, two counts possession of a schedule II controlled substance, and unlawful possession of drugs by an inmate.
