Mrs. Barbara Ann Rogers, age 84, of Rome

Mrs. Barbara Ann Rogers, age 84, of Rome, GA, passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at a local healthcare facility.

                Mrs. Rogers was born in Calhoun, GA, on February 19, 1940, daughter of the late Rassie Franklin Rogers and the late Mamie Lois Edmond Rogers. She was also preceded in death by her husband the late Melvin Lee Rogers; her sisters, Myrtle Elizabeth Rogers Erwin, and Nancy Carrol Rogers; and her niece, Lisa Ellis Morgan. Mrs. Rogers was a faithful member of Wilkerson Road Baptist Church. She was a homemaker most of her life and she will be missed by all.

                Survivors include her children, LeeAnn Duskey (Jeff), and Steven Lee Rogers (Mary); her grandchildren, Justin Orange, Jacob Orange (Aubrey), Joshua Orange, Emily Adams (Chase), Kristan Wiggins (Will), Thomas Rogers, and Chloe Rogers; her 10 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

                Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 3pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel, with the Bro. Johnny Peoples officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.

                The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel, on Thursday from 2pm until the service time.
