Shannah Rochelle Spinale, age 44, of Rome, GA, left for her Eternal Home on Thursday, May 9th, 2024.
Shannah was born on July 10, 1979, in Jacksonville, North Carolina to her loving parents, Frank “Skip” Spinale and Rosanna Lentini Duncan.
Shannah was a very intelligent woman with a strong character and resilient nature. She was in the top 3% of the national graduating class of 1997 and went straight to the Dean’s list when she studied at DeVry. While she was very outspoken and always said what was on her mind, she often used those gifts to speak up for others. Though Shannah was a natural beauty, she was very gifted with makeup artistry. She loved creating her own video content and stunning make-up looks, and even worked for a time as a makeup artist and was the #1 salesperson in the country while working for Benefits Cosmetics. She also enjoyed other artistic outlets such as painting, poetry, and literature. Shannah had a booming personality, unwavering confidence, and was truly one of a kind. She is loved dearly and will be missed by a whole community of people from “second” parents and surrogate siblings to neighbors, coworkers, and classmates.
Survivors include her father, Frank “Skip” Spinale (Leanne); her mother, Rosanna Lentini Duncan (Steve); her maternal grandmother, Marjorie Lentini; her siblings, Deanna Spinale, Shawn Spinale, Audrey Spinale, Lauren Moorman, and Dixie Tolbert (James); her nieces and nephews, Noah Spinale, Mitchell Price, Devin Price, Adara Wegenka, Atticus Wegenka, and Alice Tolbert; her very best friend, Anne Marie Knapp; Anne Marie’s children and Shannah’s Godchildren, Aidan “Cole” Brymer, Adam Kellner, and Austin Kellner; as well as several extended family members.
Shannah is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Guy Spinale and Patricia Lovely, her maternal grandfather, Vincent Lentini, and her youngest Godson, Aaron Kellner.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Shannah at 3:00 pm, on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Proctor Farm, located at 2591 Fouche Gap Rd NW, Rome, GA 30165. The family will receive friends following the service from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
