The Rome Floyd Metro Drug Task Force arrested three men, Danny Ray Sullivan, 37 of Rome, Gregory Dean Pitts, 65 of Rome, and Demetric Jermain Kennedy 47 of Rome, following a raid at a home at 1511 Flannery Street.
Police said that they found a large quantity of drugs that was packaged for resale, including crack cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl, and marijuana. They also located digital scales and packaging materials. Authorities went on to say that transmission radios that were used to provide information about police were also located in the home.
Sullivan is also charged with attempting to flee the scene on foot. However, he was captured after a short chase.
Additionally, Kenndy is accused of attempting to hide evidence from police.
Sullivan is charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute, drug trafficking, possession of a schedule I and II controlled substance, possession of a schedule I and II controlled substance with intent to distribute, conspiracy to commit a felony, possession of a drug related object, and obstruction.
Kenny is charged with possession of meth and obstruction.
Pitts is charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute, drug trafficking, possession of a schedule I and II controlled substance, possession of a schedule I and II controlled substance with intent to distribute, conspiracy to commit a felony, possession of a drug related object, possession of synthetic marijuana and probation violation.
