Mrs. Ruby ‘Duby’ Harcourt Brownlow, age 64, of Center, AL, formerly of Lindale, GA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Duby was born in Rome, GA on February 25, 1962, daughter of the late Frankie Johnson Stewart, and the late Charles Hice. She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Freddie Stewart; her daughter, Misti Brownlow Kirkland; and her great-granddaughter, Mya Puckett.
Mrs. Brownlow worked for several years at Hostess Bakery, however, prior to her retirement, she worked as a mail carrier for the Lindale, GA Post Office. She loved crocheting, crafting, doing craft shows (when her health allowed), traveling and camping, but what she loved the most was spending time with her family.
Survivors Include her husband of 38 years, Dale Brownlow; her sons, Shannon Cordle (Brandy) and Shane Cordle; her son in law, David Kirkland; her grandchildren, Blake Puckett (Kelsey), Bailey Brannon (Christian), Briley Cordle, Brantley Cordle, Brayden Cordle, and Rylan Cordle; her sisters, Jackie Paige (Terry), and Gwen Cagle; her brothers, Jerry Harcourt, and Terry Harcourt; her fur baby, Ranger; nieces and nephews.
In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Brownlow will be cremated, and no formal services are planned at this time.
