Billy Keith Fowler, 83, of Rome, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 22, 2025. Born on October 20, 1941, in Loris, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Wade Fowler and the late Geneva Grainger Fowler. He is also preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Todd Jewell; and siblings, Jerry Fowler, Exalee Hardee, and Mary Lynn McIntyre.
Keith was a man of excessive strength and wisdom. Deep down he had a heart of gold and displayed it in many ways.
Survivors include his loving wife, Frances Carnes Fowler; children, Billy Keith Fowler, Jr., Michael Edward Fowler, Thomas Russell Barlow, Brian Keith Johnson, Donna Lynn Rook Baker, Sharon Renee Barlow-Brawner, and Brenda Michelle Byrd; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and brothers, Donald Payne Fowler and Buddy Smith.
The family will have visitation at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. A graveside service and burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Rome, Georgia.
Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Espy, Rusty Espy, Jordan Espy, Dillan Espy, Cody Cage, Russell Barlow, and Billy Keith Fowler, Jr.
