Mrs. Linda Charlene Adams, age 71, of Rome

Mrs. Linda Charlene Adams, age 71, of Rome, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024.

                Mrs. Adams was born in Rome, Georgia on February 4, 1953, daughter of the late Olan Ray Bishop and the late Cornelia JoAnn Ozment Bishop.  She was also preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Leonard, and by a brother, Olan Ray “Ray Billy” Bishop, II.  Mrs. Adams was a homemaker and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  She loved people, camping and playing video games on her I-pad.

                Survivors include her husband, Paul Adams; her stepmother, Gayle Bishop; four siblings, Felecia Blake, Russell Headrick, April Marion, and Sabrina Baker; several nieces and nephews.

                A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 5pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Dr. Gary Graves, the Rev. Russell Headrick, and the Rev. Tony Cargle officiating.  Private interment will be at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.

                The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Monday from 3pm until the service time.

                In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 101 Broadus Road, Rome, GA 30161.
