Fredrick Deantay Flynn, 33 of Gadsden, was jailed in Rome after reports said he and other offenders participated in a gang beatdown at the Floyd County Prison.
Reports said that the suspects hit the victim in the face and knocked him on the ground. They then allegedly began to stomp and kick the man before robbing him of his store goods.
The incident occurred back on September 18th.
Flynn is charged with aggravated assault, unlawful acts of violence in a penal institution, and occupying a leadership role in street gang activity.
