Alton Zollie Smith, 39 of Rome, was arrested following a search of a home on Piedmont Avenue turned up drugs.
Reports stated that police recovered methamphetamine, baggies and scales in Smith’s room after his mother and mom’s caregiver gave police permission to search it.
Smith is charged with possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute, and possession of drug related objects.
