Jamarcus Omarion Jaquez Lackey, 18 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he repeatedly shot a 22 year-old man on Darlington Drive.
Police said that the victim, identified as Nakyaaus Waddell, punched Lackey in the face before being shot.

Lackey is charged with aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and reckless conduct.

In October , Lackey is accused of leading police on a high speed chase in a stolen car, Then in November, he is accused of being involved in a South Broad shooting that involved drugs.
