Nakuaus Cortez Waddell, 21 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found in possession of drugs and a loaded handgun.
Police said that a search of Waddell near the intersection of Flannery and East15th Streets led them to find crack cocaine, amphetamine, plastic baggies, a scale and a Glock 45mm hand gun that was loaded with hollow point rounds.
Waddell is charged with possession of cocaine, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a schedule II controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and drugs not in original container,
