Sean Scott Salmon, 51 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he attempted to hit them with a metal water bottle while being questioned about trespassing at the Chevron on Turner McCall Blvd.

Police said that Salmon told them he “would not be going jail” before swinging the water bottle and subsequently arrested.

Salmon had been previously banned from the store.

After arriving at the jail, Salmon was found in possession of methamphetamine.

Salmon is charged with possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of drugs by an inmate, felony obstruction and criminal trespass.
