Brandon Garner McDaniel, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said they found him in possession of methamphetamine during a search on Redmond Circle.
Police said that McDaniel was found with a bag of meth in his front right pocket.
McDaniel is also accused of giving police a fake name and date of birth while being questioned.
McDaniel is charged with possession of methamphetamine, giving false information to police, failure to appear and probation violation.
