Waschunn Keyatta Wofford Sr, 45 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he initially refused to pull over for a traffic stop and then attempted to discard drugs so police could not find it.

Officers said that Wofford failed to pull over for a time period before finally stopping behind Krispy Kream doughnut shop.

Police stated that after taking Wofford into custody they found a plastic bag containing Hydrocodone 20-30 yards behind his car.

Wofford is charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, felony tampering with evidence, drugs not in original container, operation of a vehicle on approach by emergency vehicles, a window tint violation and probation violation.
