The 2015 season for the University of Georgia Bulldog football team, 6 games old, of Athens, Georgia passed away for huge promise Saturday October 10, 2015 at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The season was born with great promise, head coached by Mark Richt, Georgia was preceded in failure by every year but 1980 and 1942.

The football season was of the Baptist faith and worked with various other denominations throughout the years.

Survivors include the real fan base who has yet to jump ship to teams such as the Alabama Crimson Tide.  Survivors year in and year out continue to donate to the athletic fund with high hopes and a promising future, only to be disappointed, year after year. Several other bandwagon fans also still survive.

Services will again be held this weekend, Saturday October 17, 2015 at Sanford Stadium with the Missouri Tigers on tap starting at 7:30 pm.

Interment will follow at the Chapel Bell Tower on campus.

Fans will receive friends around Athens starting at Friday and continuing until kickoff.  At other hours, the team may receive friends at the Butts-Mehre building.

Alumni will be on hand for this homecoming occasion with a special presentation of collaring by Que.

The University of Georgia is in charge of arrangements for the 2015 football season.

Last week I went 7-3 in my picks, thus improving my yearly record to 39 out of 60. I really need a perfect week to get back on track after a great start!
