Mr. Grover Clifton Pilgrim, age 86, of Canton, formerly of Rome

Mr. Grover Clifton Pilgrim, age 86, of Canton, formerly of Rome, passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at a Jasper, Georgia healthcare facility.

Mr. Pilgrim was born in Georgia on September 16, 1939, son of the late William Grady Pilgrim and the late Lucille Atkins Pilgrim. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Catherine Brown Pilgrim. Prior to retirement, Mr. Pilgrim worked for many years in the textile industry at various mills including Pepperell Manufacturing and Galey & Lord. He loved watching old westerns.

Survivors include a son, Keith Pilgrim; a daughter, Stacey Bowen; two brothers, Grady Pilgrim (Melissa) and James Pilgrim; nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Monday, September 21, 2026, from 1 until 2pm. Private interment will be at Floyd Memory Gardens.
