Isidro Ortiz, age 47, of Cedartown, GA, passed away at his residence on Friday, September 25th, 2026.
Isidro was born on May 15, 1979, to Jose Ortiz and Juana Alvarado. He worked as an HVAC technician and took great pride in his work. In his free time, Isidro enjoyed working in the yard, spending time outdoors, running, fishing, grilling, and dancing. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family, who were the center of his life.
Isidro was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, CoScecion Ortiz, and Claudia Jacob; his maternal grandparents, Eladio Alvarado, and Guadalupe Reyes; and his siblings, Juan Ortiz.
He is survived by his children, Bryan, Stephanie, and Emily Ortiz; his spouse, Anaelvira Barrios Ortiz; his parents, Jose Ortiz, and Juana Alvarado; his siblings, Evangelina (Avelino), Eladio (Lourdes), Jose (Guadalupe), Ruben (Sonia), Miguel (Juana), Guadalupe (Octavio), Marcos (Helen), Alejandro (Maricela), and Lilia (Fernando). Several nieces and nephews also survive.
A Funeral Mass for Isidro will be held on Wednesday, September 30th, 2026 at 3:00 pm at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Cedartown, GA.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday September 30th, 2026 from 1:00 pm until 2:30 pm at Smith & Miller Funeral Home.
Interment will take place at Jardines de la Externidad in the city of Cuamio, Michoacan, Mexico.
