Barry Wayne Edge, 62 of Rome, was arrested this week following a road rage incident on Shorter Avenue near N Division Street.
Reports said that Edge placed another driver in fear when he got out of his vehicle, walked up to the victim and attempted to open his door. Edge then allegedly proceeded to strike the victim’s car window and hood.
Police stated that Edge caused under $500 in damages to the victim’s vehicle.
Edge is charged with simple assault and criminal trespass.
