Mrs. Brenda Ray Neighbors, age 78 of Summerville

 Mrs. Brenda Ray Neighbors, age 78 of Summerville, Georgia passed away August 5, 2026, at her residence.

        Mrs. Neighbors was born in Vincennes, Indiana on February 8, 1948, daughter of the late Thelma Lehman, wife to Ronald Neighbors and twin sister to Linda Bates. She graduated from Vincennes University and worked as a Registered Nurse and Director of Nursing for over 30 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren, who will miss her dearly.

       In addition to her parents, Mrs. Neighbors was preceded in death by her brothers Kenny Lehman and Bill Lehman.

      Mrs. Neighbors is survived by her husband, Ronald Neighbors; children, Beth Neighbors, Russell Neighbors, Michele Armstrong, Wiki Stanley, Shane Neighbors, and Clint Neighbors; brothers, Tommy Lehman and Lester King; sister, Linda Bates; grandchildren, Bree Neighbors, Baylee Neighbors, Ridge Neighbors, Marvin Armstrong, Brandy Joe Armstrong, Rebecca Armstrong, and Kayla Neighbors; great grandchildren, Miley Armstrong, Tristan Ward, Austin Ward, Asia Hughes, Johnathan Duvall, and Rhiannon Duvall; and a number of extended family members.

      Funeral Services will be held at 3:00pm on Tuesday, August 11,2026, in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel.

      The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 2:45pm at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel.
