Mr. Barry Steven Godfrey, age 69, of Silver Creek

Mr. Barry Steven Godfrey, age 69, of Silver Creek, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at his residence.

Mr. Godfrey was born in Rome, Georgia on January 18, 1957, son of the late James B. “J.B.” Godfrey and the late Geneva Hopkins Godfrey. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Leslie Robin Tate Godfrey. Prior to retirement, Mr. Godfrey worked as a millwright at International Paper.

Mr. Godfrey is survived by his son, Luke Godfrey.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 3pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Rev. Matthew Bowden officiating. The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Saturday from 2pm until the service time.
