Mrs. Susan L. Taylor, age 67, of Cedartown, GA, passed away the morning of Saturday March 28, 2026, with her loving family by her side.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Marietta, GA, on August 24, 1958 and was a longtime resident of Cedartown. From an early age, she was driven by a care and compassion for people, especially children. Her love of children led her to a career as a beloved bus driver for Polk School District. Her family could always count on her love and support, to encourage them along the way in all their endeavors. At her core, she was a loving, caring, nurturing wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. If anyone ever needed a shoulder to lean on, an ear to speak to, or a heart to confide in, Lynn filled all of those needs for all who knew her. Her presence will be missed, but her memory will continue through all her family and friends.
Lynn is preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Bentley.
Survivors include her beloved husband, George Taylor; son, Justin Ottinger and his wife, Jesse; loving grandchildren, Jaxson and Jasper; and very special best friend, Sara Ayers Davis.
In keeping with her wishes, Lynn will be cremated and the family will hold a memorial gathering to celebrate her life Thursday April 2, 2026, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. ad 8:00 p.m. at Litesey Funeral Home. All of Lynn’s family and friends are welcome to come share stories and fellowship.
