Terrance Emanuel Terrell, 61 of Villa Rica, was arrested in Rome after reports said he set fire to an abandoned lot at 1105 Martha Berry Highway.
Reports added that Terrell has been previously banned from the location.
Terrell is charged with burning woodlands by causing a fire by discarding lighted/smoldering material and trespass.
