A Rome couple, Shanmika Shanell Ware, 42, and Derricus Demond Pollard, 39, were arrested on drug charges this week following a traffic stop at the intersection of Sunset and Matilda Roads.
Reports said that Ware was pulled over for driving on a suspended registration when officers allegedly found suspected marijuana and a THC vape.
Both are charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
Ware is additionally charged with driving on a suspended license.
