Adairsville Man Jailed for Choking out Woman in front of Children

Stephen John Palazzi, 41 of Adairsville, was arrested this week after reports said he assaulted a woman during a dispute on 4^th Street.

Police said that Palazzi choked the victim to the point she lost consciousness.  The victim then reported that when she woke up and attempted to get away Palazzi started to choke her again.

Reports added that the victim’s 10 and 13 year-old children witnessed the attack.

Palazzi is charged with aggravated assault and 3^rd degree cruelty to children.
