Alicia Ott, 82 of Cave Spring, was arrested this week following an altercation with a caregiver at Cave Spring Manor II on Alabama Street.
Reports said that Ott grabbed a caregiver’s shirt and pulled her out of a resident’s room. The officer said that the victim was attempting to administer medications. Ott then reportedly struck the victim twice in the back with her hands. She then continued to hinder the victim as she again attempted to perform her duties.
The victim was left with scratches on her arm.
Ott is charged with five counts felony interference with emergency medical personnel.
