Mr. Harlan Dearing Brewer, age 91, of Rome, GA passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at a local healthcare facility.
Mr. Brewer was born on January 15, 1934, in Rome, Georgia, son of the late J.C. Alexander Brewer and the late Mildred Elizabeth Dearing Brewer. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jo Harper Brewer; his son, Ricky Brewer; his brothers, Norman Brewer, Steve Brewer, and Randall Brewer.
Harlan was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a painter. He enjoyed playing golf when his health allowed, but his favorite past time was being surrounded by his family. He was at every event that his grandchildren were involved in. He will be greatly missed by all.
Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Clark (Brad), Rome; his sons, Bradley Brewer, Rome, and Kevin Brewer (Emily), Rome; his grandchildren, Joey Brewer, Drew Brewer (Melanie), Eric Brewer (Michelle), Josh Clark (Kendyl), Chelcie Baker (Jeffery), Jacy Wentz (Brad), and Sydnie Davis (Hunter); 14 great grandchildren; his sisters, Margaret Lambert (Von) and Ruth Brewer; nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November19, 2025, at 3:15pm in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel, on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 2:00pm until 3:00pm.
Pallbearers are asked to assemble at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, Oaknoll Chapel on Wednesday by 2:45pm, and include Drew Brewer, Joey Brewer, Eric Brewer, Josh Clark, Kevin Brewer, and Bo Baker.
