Felicia Sherie Tyre, 39 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she stole an elderly man’s medication while he was in the hospital.
Police said that Tyree stole the victim’s Hydrocodone-Acetamin while she was at his home caring for his dog.
Reports added that camera footage captured Tyre pulling the pill bottle from her waistband after exiting his home and placing it in a bag. The empty pill bottle was later recovered at her home.
Tyre is charged with theft by taking and possession of a schedule II controlled substance.
