Johnathan Daniel Tucker, 30 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after reports said he punched another person in the face during an altercation at his home on Preacher Smith Road.
Reports added that the incident occurred in front of a child.
Tucker is charged with simple battery and probation violation.
