Kristina Maria Morales, 49 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she forged a deceased person’s name on multiple checks and then placed the funds into her own account.
Police said that the checks were written in the amounts of $1,200 and $900. They were written on June 15, 2025 and June 18, 2025.
Morales is charged with 4th degree forgery.
