Robert Leon Sapp, 56 of Aragon, was arrested this week after reports said he placed his wife and their 16-year-old daughter in fear for their safety.
Police said that during a verbal argument, Sapp “walked around the kitchen counter in an aggressive manner”, placing the women in fear for their safety. Police went on to say that Sapp shoved numerous items off the kitchen counter, which caused visible bruising to his spouse’s right arm and both thighs.
Reports added that Sapp, a former Marine, had a history of aggressive behavior toward his family.
Sapp is charged with battery, second degree cruelty to children and two counts third degree cruelty to children.
