Steven Bernard Tillman, 31 of Greenville, AL, was arrested in Rome after reports said he fought with troopers during a traffic stop near Walker Mountain Road.
Authorities stated that Tillman was stopped after running ran the red light at the intersection of GA 1 and Walker Mountain. After stopping, Tillman is accused of refusing to step out of his car and later locked his arms so that he could not be handcuffed.
Tillman is charged with failure to obey traffic control devices and obstruction.
