A 24 year-old Summerville man, Deoveon Price, was arrested on Friday and charged with the murder of 27 year-old Christoper “DJ” Chapman.
Reports said that officers were dispatched to a shooting on Oak Street in Summerville on Friday. When they arrived, they located Chapman with a gunshot wound to the chest and was unresponsive.
Investigators later identified the shooter as Price, who had fled the scene in his vehicle. He was later located on Taylors Ridge, where he was taken into custody without incident.
Polcie stated that the shooting occurred following a physical altercation between Price and Chapman.
