Racheal Danielle Day, 41 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she hit a 37 year-old man in the back of the head.
Police added that the victim was left with a visible injury to his head.
Reports stated that the incident occurred at a home on Williamson Road.
Day is charged with battery and probation violation.
