Joshua Gilbert Bishop, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he burglarized a home on Dellvue Place.
Police said that he went into the home and took property before destroying it on the front porch.
Bishop then proceeded to destroy a grill belonging to the victim, a 40-year-old woman.
When police arrived on the scene, Bishop allegedly refused to identify himself.
Bishop is charged with first degree burglary, criminal trespass and obstruction.
