A Lindale couple, Olivia Rachel Venable, 34, and Bobby Joel Venable, 35, were arrested this week after allowing their 10 year-old child to miss 40 days of school in the 2023-2024 and 2024-25 school years.
Reports added that out of the 40 absences, 10 of those were unexcused.
The child has been referred to truancy treatment 4 times since 2022.
Both are charged with the mandatory education of children.
