Kellen Seth Burk, 36 of Silver Creek, was arrested after reports said he threw a 27 year-old woman off of a bed three times and then pulled her by the hair.
Reports added that Burk proceeded to grab the victim by the neck and choke her, placing her in fear for her life.
Officers stated that the victim was left with visible redness and scratches to her neck.
The incident occurred at a home on Jake Whorton Road.
Burk is charged with aggravated assault, battery, and probation violation.
