Stephen Lam, 30 of Rome, was arrested at a home on Broad Street after reports said he beat a 26 year-old woman in the head with his banana.
Reports added that Lam over dumped water over the victim.
Lam is then accused of breaking the victim’s cellphone, which was valued at $800.
Authorities added that Lam and the victim had been living together for over a year.
Lam is charged with three counts simple battery and 2nd degree criminal damage to property.
