Rome Man Found with Large Amount of Drugs Packaged for Distribution During Traffic Stop

Marshain Dontai Hamilton, 46 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with a large amount of a variety of drugs during a traffic stop on East 1^st and Turner McCall Blvd.

Reports said that Hamilton was stopped for a window tint violation when it was discovered that he was also driving without insurance.

A search then resulted in police finding numerous baggies of marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms.

Hamilton is charged with felony possession of marijuana, distribution of marijuana and possession of a schedule I controlled substance.
