The Rome Floyd Metro Drug Task Force arrested () individuals after stings at multiple stores that sold minors alcohol and tobacco products.
Reports said that those arrested: Mohit Mohit, 19 of Rome, Stop and Go Food Mart (407 Calhoun Ave), Amar Kumar, 28 of Rome, Chevron Express (507 Turner McCall), Tyeesha Shyan Haywood, 35 of Rome, Cloyd 9 Vape and Smoke Shop (331 Broad Street), Simran Patel, 28 of Rome, Party Time Beverages (2797 Martha Berry Blvd), Rahul Patel, 40 of Rome, Armuchee Quick Stop (2773 Martha Berry Blvd), Joseph Lee Alexander Costlow, 41 of Rome, Armuchee Quick Stop (2773 Martha Berry Blvd), Sulemon Shamsuddin, 50 of Atlanta, Hop N Shop (301 Calhoun Ave), sold either vape pens containing nicotine and/or alcoholic beverages to underage children.
Kumar is charged with underage furnishing of alcohol and furnishing tobacco products to minors.
Haywood is charged and furnishing tobacco products to minors.
Simran Patel is charged with underage furnishing of alcohol.
Rahul Patel is charged with underage furnishing of alcohol.
