Maria Perez-Rodriguez, 30 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she punched a 37 year-old man in the face during a dispute at an apartment on Redmond Road.
Reports added that the strike caused the victim to bleed.
Perez-Rodriguez is charged with battery.
