Taliah Dasonai Hayes, 20 of Cartersville, was arrested this week after she was found with drugs while being pulled over for a brake light violation.
Officers said that after smelling marijuana during the stop, a search led them to find marijuana, psychedelic mushrooms and a digital scale.
Officers added that there were also two warrants for her arrest.
The first stated that she damaged a security camera and the front door to a home on South Broad Street.
The second stated that Hayes grabbed a 40 year-old woman by the shirt and neck area during the altercation. The victim was left with redness on the back of her neck and sternum.
Hayes is charged with simple battery, 2 counts criminal trespass, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug related objects, not using signal devices and failure to appear.
