Floyd County Schools (FCS) is excited to announce Allison Goggans as the next principal at Pepperell Primary School (PPS). 

With over 20 years of experience in educational leadership, curriculum development, and school administration, Mrs. Goggans brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role.

“We are thrilled to welcome Allison Goggans to Pepperell Primary School,” said Dr. Glenn White, Superintendent of Floyd County Schools. “As a dedicated member of the Pepperell community and a true Dragon, Allison is deeply vested in our school’s success. Her strong ties to the community and her commitment to guiding our Baby Dragons make her the perfect fit for this role. We are confident she will do a fantastic job leading Pepperell Primary School.”

Goggans has a proven track record of enhancing student outcomes and leading staff development initiatives. Her extensive experience includes serving as Assistant Principal at Pepperell High School, where she managed academic programs, guided student achievement, and fostered collaborative relationships with staff and the community. 

She has also worked as a Class Interventionist and Social Science Educator at Pepperell High School, and as a Quality Assurance Specialist at Georgia Virtual School.

Ms. Goggans holds a Bachelor of Social Science Education and a Master of Education in Adult Education from The University of Georgia, as well as a Specialist of Educational Administration from Lincoln Memorial University. She is certified in Educational Leadership and is a member of the Georgia Association of Secondary School Principals (GASSP).

“Pepperell Primary is a ‘Love and Learn’ environment that develops our youngest learners socially and academically,” stated Mrs. Goggans. “I am honored and excited to become a part of that endeavor. PPS is such a treasure to Dragon Country!”

Mrs. Goggans is deeply connected to the Pepperell community, where she has lived and worked for many years. Her pride in the community is evident in her commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. As a mother of two boys who went through Pepperell Primary School, she brings a personal passion and dedication to her new role. 

She looks forward to working with the school’s talented staff and engaging with the community to support the academic and personal growth of every student.
