Parris Nechelle Barnes, 25 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after reports said she struck a wood chipper causing over $500 in damages before leaving the scene and not reporting it.
Police went on to say that she was found located at Central Plaza where she was taken into custody. Authorities added that while arresting her they discovered that she was driving under the influence of alcohol.
Barnes is charged with DUI and duty to report an accident.
