Mr. Gary Alan Wheeler, age 69, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025.

          Gary was born in Ringgold, Georgia, on May 3, 1955, son of the late Nagel Willis Wheeler, and Betty Jean McCroskey Wheeler. Gary was a graduate of Ringgold High School and worked for Mohawk for 39 years in the maintenance department, until his retirement. He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan. He loved vacationing in the Great Smoky Mountains and the beach. Gary was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend; he will be missed by all of his family and friends.

          Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Jennifer Bridges Wheeler; mother, Betty Jean McCroskey Wheeler; sister, Phyllis Reed (Richard); children, Amanda Powell (Dustin), Greg Wheeler (Becky), and Ashley Manning; grandchildren, Kelsey Puckett (Blake), Madisen Powell (Tristan), Jamison Bray (Seth), Ethan Wheeler, Blake Brown, and Ella Manning; great grandchildren, Wyatt Bray and unborn Mya Puckett; nieces, Sherry Crawford (Randall) and Susan Black (Phillip); and several great nieces and great nephews also survive.  

          Memorial services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, in the chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, with Pastor Wayne Hopper officiating.

          The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 12:00pm until 1:45pm.

          In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Atlanta Hope Lodge, 1552 Shoup Court, Decatur, Georgia.
