The Rome Floyd County EMA authority announced Tuesday that they are relocating a warming shelter in Floyd County.
According to Asst. Director Chris Fincher, the Anthony Center will not be available but will instead offer shelter at the Community Kitchen on North Broad Street.

Warming shelters will be in operation for Rome and Floyd County in anticipation of the severe cold weather being forecast this week (begins Sunday 01/19/25).
